Nathalie graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Montreal in 1992. She then undertook a Master’s Degree in social and labor law at the University of Quebec in Montreal. She has been a member of the Bar since 1994.

Nathalie has worked in various private firms, in the public service and as a self-employed person, having opened her own firm. Her areas of practice are: family law, civil law, labor law and housing law.
Participating in the Salon Visez Droit since its founding, access to justice has always been a major concern for Nathalie. Her arrival at The Legal Collecive will allow her to devote herself full time to this objective.

Since her admission to the Quebec Bar in 2018, Léa has worked in immigration and citizenship law and became Partner of a private law firm in 2021. She holds a strong expertise in her field, as well as management and supervision skills. Her career has also been enriched by her work as a legal editor and her involvement with various community organizations.

It is her interest in legal education, fight against inequality and protection of vulnerable communities that will lead Léa to join the Legal Collective as Assistant Director in September 2023.

Emile completed his Bachelor of Law at l’Université du Québec à Montréal. He joined the Legal collective team as a coordinating lawyer in April 2023.

Having completed his internship at the Longueuil legal aid, Emile was brought to officiate in multiple legal domains. He principally worked in family law, civil law, health law, housing law and administrative law. He has been a member of the Bar since February 2023.

He always had an interest to practice in the law field to help protect the people with fewer resources and to make the justice system more accessible to everybody.

Raphaelle holds a bachelor’s degree in law and a certificate in feminist studies from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She completed her internship at the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST), before starting work in private practice as a housing lawyer. She joined the Legal collective team as a coordinating lawyer in January 2024.

Raphaelle is guided by a desire to make the law a tool for social transformation and to work for the benefit of the most vulnerable individuals and groups. These concerns have followed her throughout her career, and her community involvement bears witness to her desire to make access to justice an issue at the heart of her practice.

Anik has been working at the Mile End Legal Clinic as the administrative coordinator for over 10 years. She provides the necessary support to management in various areas of the organization’s activities, including accounting and human resources.

In June 2023, Océane joined the Legal Collective as the Communications Manager. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Montreal and is currently in the process of completing a Bachelor’s degree in Law at the same institution.

With a passion for communication, Océane has accumulated several years of experience as a Communications Coordinator within nonprofit organizations and agencies. Her pronounced interest lies in access to justice and animal rights.

She is currently a member of the Student Fund for Animal Legal Defense at the University of Montreal, while also providing support for urban security research as a research assistant for the International Centre for the Prevention of Crime.

Tanisha joined the Legal Collective in March 2023 as a psychosocial worker. She is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in Human and Organizational Communication and has previously obtained certificates in Feminist Studies and Psychosocial Intervention from the University of Quebec in Montreal.

Driven by her passion for intervention and helping others, she has worked as an advocate for women experiencing homelessness for over 3 years. She has a particular interest in ensuring access to justice for vulnerable individuals.

Passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion, she is part of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) committee at the University of Quebec in Montreal, working on the project to unite against racism
